Ways to pay
We accept most major coverage options
Most families use a combination of these. We'll help you find the right mix for your situation.
Medicare
Covers intermittent skilled nursing and therapy at home when a doctor certifies that your loved one is homebound. There's typically no copay for covered home health visits.
Florida Medicaid (SMMC LTC)
The Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-Term Care program can cover personal care, companion care and respite for eligible seniors who want to remain at home.
VA Community Care
Veterans may qualify for home health and homemaker services through the VA, as well as Aid & Attendance benefits that help pay for in-home care.
Long-term care insurance
Most policies cover in-home personal care. We'll review your policy, track the elimination period and submit claims and visit records on your behalf.
Private pay
Simple hourly rates billed weekly with no long-term contracts, deposits or hidden fees. HSA and FSA funds can often be used for eligible services.
Other programs
Workers' compensation, Medicare Advantage plans and local Area Agency on Aging programs may also help. Ask us — we'll check.

Questions
Paying for care FAQs
Does Medicare pay for 24-hour care at home?
No. Medicare covers intermittent skilled care, not around-the-clock or custodial care. Families often combine Medicare-covered nursing visits with private pay, Medicaid or long-term care insurance for additional hours.
How much does private-pay home care cost?
Rates depend on the type of care, number of hours and schedule. We provide a written estimate after your free assessment so you know exactly what to expect.
Can you help us apply for Medicaid or VA benefits?
Our coordinators can explain eligibility, connect you with the right agencies and help gather paperwork. For complex cases, we can refer you to trusted local elder law attorneys.
When do I pay?
Private-pay clients are billed weekly after care is provided. There are no deposits and you can pay by card, check or bank transfer.
