What's included
Clinical care, coordinated with your doctor
Every skilled nursing plan starts with your physician's orders and a thorough in-home evaluation by one of our Registered Nurses. From there, your nurse schedules visits, updates your doctor after each one and teaches you and your family how to manage care between visits.

Questions
Skilled nursing FAQs
Does Medicare cover skilled nursing at home?
Yes, when a physician certifies that your loved one is homebound and needs intermittent skilled care. Medicare-covered home health typically has no copay. Our coordinators verify eligibility before the first visit.
Do I need a doctor's order?
Skilled nursing requires physician orders. If you don't have them yet, we'll contact your doctor or the hospital discharge planner directly to get everything in place.
How often will the nurse visit?
Visit frequency follows the physician's orders, often two to three times a week at first and tapering as your loved one recovers. Your nurse will share the schedule with your family.
Can nursing be combined with personal care?
Absolutely. Many clients pair skilled nursing visits with an aide for bathing, meals and daily routines, all under one RN-supervised care plan.
