Questions
Choosing the right care
What's the difference between home health and home care?
Home health is skilled, medical care ordered by a physician — nursing, wound care, medication management — and is often covered by Medicare. Home care (personal and companion care) is non-medical help with daily living. Many families use both, and we provide both under one care plan.
How do I know which services my loved one needs?
That's exactly what the free in-home assessment is for. A Registered Nurse reviews health needs, safety and daily routines, then recommends a mix of services and hours. You decide what to start with.
Can services change over time?
Yes. Care plans are reviewed regularly by your nurse and updated whenever needs change, whether that's adding nursing visits after a hospital stay or reducing hours as someone recovers.
Do you provide care in assisted living communities?
Yes. Many clients live in assisted living or independent living communities and use our caregivers for extra one-on-one support, companionship or skilled nursing visits.
